<p data-block-key="imme3">কিশোরগঞ্জের কটিয়াদীতে বিএনপি, গণঅধিকার পরিষদসহ বিভিন্ন শ্রেণি-পেশার সাড়ে তিন শতাধিক নেতাকর্মী বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামীতে যোগদান করেছেন। বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা ও বিএনপির সাবেক সংসদ সদস্য এবং সদ্য জামায়াতে যোগ দেয়া মেজর (অব.) আখতারুজ্জামান রঞ্জনের হাত ধরে তারা জামায়াতে যোগ দেন।</p><p data-block-key="86o9o"></p><p data-block-key="4cs91">শনিবার (২৪ জানুয়ারি) রাত ৮টা পর্যন্ত উপজেলার চান্দপুর ইউনিয়নের দুর্গাপুর গ্রামে আখতারুজ্জামানের নিজ বাড়িতে তার উপস্থিতিতে জামায়াতের সহযোগী সদস্য ফরম পূরণের মাধ্যমে নতুন সদস্যরা আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে সদস্যপদ গ্রহণ করেন।</p><p data-block-key="44nph"></p><p data-block-key="537b8">জানা গেছে, গত ১৩ ডিসেম্বর বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামীর আমির ডা: শফিকুর রহমানের উপস্থিতিতে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে জামায়াতে ইসলামীতে যোগ দেন সাবেক এমপি ও বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা আখতারুজ্জামান রঞ্জন। যোগদানের পর থেকেই তিনি কটিয়াদীসহ বিভিন্ন এলাকায় এবং ঢাকায় দলটির নানা কর্মসূচি ও অনুষ্ঠানে নিয়মিত অংশ নিয়ে বক্তব্য রাখছেন। তিনি কিশোরগঞ্জ-২ (কটিয়াদী-পাকুন্দিয়া) আসনে জামায়াতে মনোনীত ১০ দলীয় জোটের প্রার্থীর পক্ষে নির্বাচনী প্রচারণায় সক্রিয় ভূমিকা পালন করছেন। পাশাপাশি গত বৃহস্পতিবার তিনি ঢাকা-১১ আসনে জামায়াতে ইসলামীর প্রার্থীর পক্ষে আয়োজিত এক নির্বাচনী জনসভায় বক্তব্য দেন এবং নিজ এলাকার নেতাকর্মী ও সমর্থকদের জামায়াতে যোগদানের আহ্বান জানান।</p><p data-block-key="e500p"></p><p data-block-key="gk17">গত শুক্র ও শনিবার তার আহ্বানে সাড়া দিয়ে কটিয়াদী উপজেলার বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে উপজেলা স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের যুগ্ম আহ্বায়ক, উপজেলা গণঅধিকার পরিষদের নেতাকর্মী, সুশীল সমাজের প্রতিনিধি, বিভিন্ন পেশাজীবী, ব্যবসায়ী, ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের (ইউপি) সাবেক সদস্য ও দু’জন সনাতন ধর্মাবলম্বী ব্যক্তিসহ সাড়ে তিন শতাধিক মানুষ বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামীতে যোগ দেন।</p><p data-block-key="blvnm"></p><p data-block-key="6euf">এ সময় আখতারুজ্জামান রঞ্জন জানান, দেশ ও মানুষের কল্যাণে আদর্শভিত্তিক রাজনীতি প্রতিষ্ঠার লক্ষ্যেই তিনি বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামীতে যোগ দিয়েছেন। দীর্ঘদিন ধরে জামায়াতে ইসলামী সম্পর্কে ভুল ব্যাখ্যা ও অপপ্রচার চালানো হয়েছে। বাস্তবে জামায়াতে ইসলামী কোনো যুদ্ধাপরাধী দল নয়, এটি একটি স্বাধীনতা ও সার্বভৌমত্বে বিশ্বাসী রাজনৈতিক দল। এই আদর্শ ও বিশ্বাস থেকেই তিনি এ সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন।</p><p data-block-key="becne"></p><p data-block-key="71pdv">তার আহ্বানে সাড়া দিয়েই বিভিন্ন শ্রেণি-পেশার মানুষ স্বেচ্ছায় বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামীতে যোগদান করছেন।</p><p data-block-key="8q78i"></p>
